We will realize a society without “waste heat” by 2050
POLASTECH is a deep-tech company dedicated to transforming cooling energy systems in data centers and industrial sectors. Our adsorption heat pump technology harnesses low-temperature waste heat that has traditionally been discarded, significantly reducing both electricity consumption and CO₂ emissions at the same time. Built on proven and validated technologies, we are accelerating the real-world implementation of a society where waste heat is no longer wasted.
- Building on the AQSOA and adsorption heat pump (AHP) technologies originally developed at Mitsubishi Chemical, POLASTECH is advancing their commercialization as an independent business.)
- Certified as a Nagoya University-affiliated venture(September 1, 2025)
- POLASTECH offers functional adsorbent materials, AQSOA® (powder and granulated forms).

AQSOA
AQSOA
AQSOA: Still unrivaled after 25 years. The gold standard in low-temperature water vapor adsorption.
AQSOATM is a novel inorganic “AQua SOrb zeolitic Adsorbent” originally developed by Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation.
AQSOATM strong points are regenerated by low temperature heat source and tough durability.
AQSOATM is designed for using waste heat from data center and factory, other renewable energy source.

APPLICATION
Application

Reducing cooling costs by reusing data center waste heat
By converting low-grade waste heat into cooling energy with an adsorption heat pump, we dramatically reduce the power consumption needed for data center server cooling.

Reducing cooling costs through cooling generation using industrial waste heat
By converting industrial waste heat into cooling energy, we dramatically reduce the energy consumption and costs associated with HVAC and process cooling.

Producing safe drinking water by adsorbing moisture from the air
By capturing moisture from the air with minimal electricity and regenerating it through heating, we produce clean and safe drinking water.
